About Little Willows Day Nursery

Little Willows Day Nursery works with parents across Bath and Corsham to provide the very best education and childcare possible for children aged between 4 years and 12 months. Our name comes from the large willow trees set within our beautiful gardens, providing the perfect environment for children to explore and play.

Each room has doors opening out onto the gardens which are on the same level surrounding the nursery. This creates a free flow system so your children can safely and securely explore their own curiosity and creativity.

Our philosophy is to empower children to make decisions for themselves and this is what we help them to do every day.

What Makes Us Different

We pride ourselves on going the extra mile to provide the best possible care for the children and their parents, whilst being as environmentally friendly in all we do.

Our Mission Statement

We are committed to working in a partnership with parents to provide the best care and learning for their children. At Little Willows our mission statement is as follows:

‘Making a difference in partnership with parents’

Little Willows strive to work closely with all parents and carers to ensure the running of a smooth, happy, safe and secure nursery. Creating relationships with all our parents and carers is important to us, and strongly believe that their thoughts and opinions matter!

We offer a variety of different ways for parents and carers to become involved in the running of the nursery, such as:

Little Willows holds a parent’s morning twice a year so parents/carers and staff have a chance to formally catch up.

Children are assigned a key carer and this person liaises with parents/carers on a daily basis.

Parents are invited to help out on trips out and about, to lead story times and help with room topics.

Parents/carers are asked to help Little Willows liaise with any other settings that their children may attend.

What Makes Little Willows Different

At Little Willows we:

Aim to be as paperless as possible by using email to communicate with parents for newsletters and other information.

Have three fantastic gardens including a large garden which has grass and all-weather surfaces, as well as a further area under cover and another adjoining the Owls classroom.
