FAQ's

Can I Come and Visit?

At Little Willows we always welcome visitors. If you would like to come and have a look around, then please contact our team who will be happy to arrange a time to suit you. You can find our details within the contact section of our website.

Does Little Willows Cater for Special Educational Needs?

Our staff always strive to make sure that the nursery is accessible for everyone! Little Willows work closely with the area SENDCo (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator) to ensure we provide the best possible care for children with additional needs.

Our nurseries are built on one level, ensuring everybody can access each area. We offer a range of toys and equipment to suit everyone’s needs and abilities as well as a stimulating environment to be in. The nursery team works closely with all parents to ensure we give each child a great start to life.

For more information please refer to the SEN policy which is kept in the Nursery office or click here to view our SENDCO Document.

What Will We Need to Bring in From Home?

We provide all food and drinks including cow and soya milk, nappies and wipes, and sun cream. However, we do ask you to bring:

  • A nursery-friendly sized bag
  • At least two changes of clothes with extra if your little one is toilet training
  • Indoor shoes/slippers
  • Suitable footwear and outside clothing depending on the weather/li>
  • Measured formula powder (if needed)/li>
  • A special something for security (if needed)
  • Baby sleeping bag for sleep times (cot sleepers only)
  • Distinctive cup or water bottle that your child is familiar with
  • Re-usable nappies and a wet bag for storage (if required)

What will my child need to wear?

We suggest that your child wears comfortable, labelled clothing so it doesn’t matter if they get covered in paint and glue etc. Little Willows nursery T-shirts and jumpers are available to purchase, however these are optional.

We also suggest that clothes can be done up/undone easily so we can help your toddler to become independent in dressing themselves.
