Father’s Day at Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park

Head over to Avon Valley Wildlife Park for a dad-tastic day out. The whole family can have a go at quad-biking, bouncing on massive air pillows, pig racing, boating and more. If dad is a bit of a petrol head, why not let him feast his eyes on some motoring marvels? Check out the eclectic display of classic and vintage cars and motorcycles at Bath’s Festival of Motoring. Over this two-day event there will be parades, exhibitions, demos, and supercar rides. How better to celebrate Father’s Day than with a carnival of outdoor adventure, entertainment, inspiration and delicious local food and drink? Camp for the weekend or come as day visitors to make the most of the scenery and activities. Take your pick from foraging, climbing, yoga, axe throwing, dry stone walling and star gazing. Father’s Day BBQ Weekend at Whitehall Garden Centre (Lacock and Whitchurch)

15th & 16th June 2019

If dad’s got green fingers, a trip to the garden centre is always a treat. Add a Father’s Day BBQ to the mix and you’ve got a winning combination. The BBQ will be fired up at 10.30am, with tastings running from 11am to 3pm. There will also be tasting sessions in the farm shop and Father’s Day card making workshops on the Saturday between 10.30am and 4pm. Create your own Roman pot at the Roman Baths

If you like the traditional Roman pots on display at the Baths, you’ll love creating your very own designs to take home. Your little ones will learn how to use wax crayons and wax resist effect to create their masterpieces. No need to book – just pop along on Monday 15^th April. Sessions are between 10am and 12.30pm and 1.30pm and 4pm.

Join the Great Big Egg Hunt in Bath

The Great Big Egg Hunt is hitting the streets of Bath once again this year between 13^th April and 12^th May. Organised by egg theatre, this fab free activity sees individually decorated eggs being hidden around the streets of Bath where residents, families and tourists are encouraged to find them. Make sure you stay on the right path with maps and question sheets from the egg café, participating shops and online. Ride on the East Somerset Railway

If you have a Thomas the Tank Engine fan in your midst, choo choo it down to the East Somerset Railway this Easter weekend between 19^th and 22^nd April! Children go free if they bring their cuddly toy along for the ride and travel with a fare paying adult.

Did you know the amazing Bristol Aquarium is celebrating its 10^th birthday this year? Search for Zog at Westonbirt Arboretum

If your toddler loves Julia Donaldson’s Zog, then take a trip to Westonbirt Arboretum and follow the Zog trail! You can take part Zog-inspired activities around the grounds and, who knows, you might even spot the friendly dragon himself! On now, until 2^nd June.
